The statue is raised 1938 in memory of Queen Victoria of Baden 1862-1930, nearby the Solliden "the summer house of the Swedish king".
The Statue is showing a bust of Victoria vering a high dress with a necklace. The statue is approximately 4m high and is made om granite. The plinth is made of granite and there are 4 stone poles with stone balls on topp linked with iron chains.
There are no info about who made the statue.
Victoria was the only daughter to the great duke Fredrik I of Baden and his wife Louise of Preussen and therby grandchild to the german emperor Vilhelm I.
In 1881 she married the Swedish king Gustaf V. In 1907 she became queen of Sweden.
