There are 2 ways to go from Aurland to Lærdal, either you use "Lærdalstunnelen", the largest tunnel in the world (with 24,5km), or you use the FV23 road, that connects the 2 villages by the top of the mountain.

Who travels this road sees many cairns, this one is the largest.

Nowadays, many of the stones are signed, probably leaved by travelers that stop there.
