The tree growth ring dates back to 1782 and the information board details events which occurred during the years. The tree lived for 214 years.

The small Visitor Centre has a 3D model of the valley and a mural depicting the area.

Visitor Centre Nant Rhaeadr Nr Abergwyngregyn Gwynedd Head along the Aber Falls Nature Trail from Bont Newydd. The gravel path leads you past the centre as you head to Aber Falls.
