This is a cannon located in the inner courtyard of the Hohentübingen Castle in Tübingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.

The cannon was on display here from 1909 to 1960.
And it is again on display here since 06/30/2010.
In the times between it was on display in a museum in Hechingen.

The origin of this cannon is not surly clear.
The type maybe used since the 15th century.

A plaque at the cannon tells 'Tübinger Kanonier-Corps 1812-1949'.
