These four men were in a group of thirteen firemen from Vodice, Tisno and Šibenik, transported to Kornat by a helicopter. All except one survivor died in the flames or later in hospitals.
The memorial has been placed in 2008 by Vodice volunteer fire department and local Torcida (fans of Hajduk Split soccer club).
