A monument plaque to the memory of those who fell in the Great War, part of this is the surround area depicts two soldiers cast from bronze.

This monument specifically marks those who left their jobs as workers on the great western railway to join the war effort and died in the war.

The monument is made of cast bronze and the frame depicts to soldiers one looks like a normal man from the trenches, the other looks like a naval officer.

This monument was commissioned by the Great Western Railway, but no where on the plaque is a name of the artist.
