The Town Hall is one of the oldest buildings in Vianden, and records for its use as a local government building date from 1469. At one time, it was occupied by the noble families Ziewel and Veyder. The building has been restored and rebuilt several times and its present structure is from the 17th and 18th Centuries. It has been the Vianden Town Hall since 1950.
