[cs] V roce 1957 byl vytvoren válecný památník se sochou šohaje ve slováckém kroji na Námestí míru (autor Jan Habarta starší), venovaný Rudé armáde a nesoucí informaci o poctu padlých Rudoarmejcu. Po roce 1989 byly pridány pametní desky také se jmény místních obetí nacismu.
Nápisy po stranách podstavce:
At kamkoliv jdeš, zastav se na chvíli!
Pamatuj, že my za život Tvuj, jsme krví platili.
V roce 1945 pri osvobozování Uherského Hradište obetovalo život 9 rudoarmejcu.
Tento památník byl zbudován roku 1957 o sedmistém výrocí založení mesta Uherského Hradište.
Vletech nesvobody za nacistické hruzovlády zahynulo 285 našich spoluobcanu.

[en] In 1957 a war memorial with a statue of the Moravian Slovak uniform was placed at Soham Square of Peace and dedicated to the Red Army. It bears information on the number of fallen Red Army soldiers. After 1989, were added to the memorial plaques with the names of local victims of Nazism.

In 1945 during the liberation of Uherske Hradiste nine lives were sacrificed by the Red Army.
This monument was built in 1957 by 700 anniversary of Uherske Hradiste.
During the Nazi reign of terror 285 of our fellow citizens were killed.
