Romanic Chappel on the route between Sameiro and Folgosinho in Serra da Estrela.
Nossa senhora de Assedasse Chappel is a Romanic Chapell from the 12th century.
It was restaured several times along he years. The last one was in 2005.
There is a legend that tells that there was a village in this place buut a plague of ants forced the residents to run away to Folgosinho. Since then, every 8th of September there´s a pilgrimage of local sheppards that every year return here to offer products from their harvest and from their herds.
