This whimsical fish draws attention to Mullet's Restaurant from high on top of his “fishing pole.” Mullet's is a relatively new place in town, offering a variety of foods and beverages on their menu. Located on the river near Principal Park, Mullet's has extra seating on an upstairs patio where a scenic view of the city can be enjoyed. Its proximity to the Iowa Cubs stadium and the bicycle trail makes this a popular place to stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is open weekdays from 11 a.m. until midnight and weekends from 7 a.m. until midnight. A waymarker may find the fish and restaurant at 1300 SE 1st, Des Moines, IA 50315.
