This VFW post stands in a beautiful setting across the street from the Morrilton City Park. The VFW meets every third Saturday at 9:00 am. The AA uses the post building to hold meetings every Tuesday and Friday at 8:00 pm. Adjacent to the Post is a tank on display with four flags flying over it. The U. S. Flag flies on the center pole and is flanked by the Arkansas flag and the VFW flag. On the center pole beneath the U. S. Flag flies a POW*MIA flag. No text memorializing anyone specific could be found. The Post has a large number of U. S. Flags that are displayed at the local hospital and other locations on holidays.
