This wall plaque is dedicated to the flood of Budapest in 1838.
there were a lot of victims of the water, because in those days there was no organized flood and evacuation control in Hungary.
The plaque is located at the corner of Rákóczi and Gyulai Pál street, on the wall of a church. That church is still standing, that is why the plaque is on its wall.
