This very particular bridge, made of woven wire cables with a wooden footpath, it crosses the river Tamega connecting Ribeira to Santo Aleixo.
The bridge looks very fragile, and crossing it might be adventurous, although there aren’t records of any accident.
It was built in the beginning of the 20th century, and had an important role during the first Great War, it has a length of 55 meters and 2,5 meters wide.
