A dovecote in the Erddig estate just south of Wrexham. Entry is free to the grounds, but access to the gardens costs a small charge and is under ownership of Cadw.
There is a walk that enters the field near the dovecote so you can walk right around it. It isn't been in use for years but is still in a great condition, and the red brick construction has weathered well.
There is another example of a 8 sided dovecote in the local area. There is also one at Chirk castle a few miles to the south.
