Arnolds Park Amusement Park has a long history in the Lake Okoboji area. The tourist attraction was the vision of Wesley Arnold, a pioneer in the late 1800’s who wanted to bring visitors to this wonderful vacation spot. The first ride was a water toboggan slide, and over the next century the park has grown into a major tourist destination. The legendary roller coasters, ferris wheel, bumper cars, Tipsy House, and kiddy rides combine with big band and rock ‘n’ roll concerts, go-karts, gift shops, and eating places to attract people from far and near. Visitors can combine their time at Arnolds Park with picnics, beach swimming, boating or a ride on the Queen II excursion boat.

Arnolds Park Amusement Park, 37 Lake Street, 51337, open daily Memorial day-Labor Day, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. during peak season. A one day pass runs $25 for adults, $17 for kids, and $8 for toddlers. Package pricing is available and individual rides may be purchased separately. It’s old fashion fun at its finest!
