Paderne medieval bridge was built in mediavel times.
There is not much information about its origins but the type of construction points at medieval times.
There is an inscription of the year 1711 in the central arch which makes believe that it was reconstructed or altered in that year.
The structure consists of a flat platform supported by semi-circular arches reinforced by three prismatic cutwaters.
The bridge was recovered in 2002.
