Die 1200 Hektar große Auenlandschaft gehört zu den größten binnenländischen "Feuchtgebieten mit internationalerDauerausstellung:AuenGeschichte Bedeutung" in Deutschland. Die traumhafte Flusslandschaft bietet sich für Wanderungen und Radttouren an. Hier lassen sich typische Tierarten und die vielfältige Pflanzenwelt beobachten. Im Winter nutzen bis zu 25.000 Wildgänse die Insel als Landeplatz.

The gorgeous river scenery is perfect for hiking and Radttouren. This can be observed in typical animal species and diverse plant life.
