The first Baptist church in Basel was founded in 1893. They moved to the current location in 1998.
It's located in the inner yard of a housing block, it's easy to miss the passage in there.
Don't confuse Johannes Kapelle with Johanneskirche, which is a nearby evangelical-reformed church.
