To reach this concrete overlook, enter at the Project Office entrance on Route 66, just west of the dam. There is no fee for this parking location. South of the Project Office, overlooking the Lake, you will see the structure. It is a short walk on a paved path from there.
The Overlook has a concrete floor with a 3 ft. high brick wall. A cantilevered open roof is supported by two large masonry pillars. Two benches are provided. The scene from this point is a panoramic view of the Lake, with the dam to the east, and a view of the north and northeastern portion of the 1820 acre lake.
