This Wall of Honor is adjacent to the sidewalk on the west side of the Baxter County Courthouse. Constructed of bricks, each individual brick has the name of a veteran, his branch of service and the armed conflict he served in. The wall runs the entire length of the courthouse with a break in the middle where a sidewalk runs to the courthouse door. There are five rows of bricks on the vertical surface of the wall and four rows on the slanted top. The wall apparently was commissioned by the North Central Arkansas Veterans Council. A large brick in the center section bears this engraving: "North Central Arkansas Veterans Council Thanks County Judge Joe Bodenhamer And John Barnes And Roller Funeral Home For Their Support Towards Building This Wall Of Honor." While searching the internet for information about the Council I could only find where it had provided military honors at several funerals over the last few years.
