Redhill in Surrey is home to a large community of Methodists and accordingly their church in the centre of the town is equally large.
It is a modern red brick design into which a great deal of thought and care was taken to make a functional building that was both useful and welcoming.
Amongst the clever design features of Redhill Methodist Church was the inclusion of a large crèche and also a Junior Church for youngsters.
The church was built in 1992.
In times gone it would have been opposite the Police Station and Public Swimming baths. In fact I would have been standing outside the Police Station when I took the main picture. Alas, like most of Redhill these days it is now a modern office block.
