The Washington Heights Church is a mega Church, they are a part of the Conservative Baptist Association. One of the defining characteristics of Baptist churches is that each church is self-governing, meaning that Washington Heights Church leadership makes decisions for our church. There is no outside influence to decide direction, ministry initiatives, budget, pastors, etc. for the church. These decisions are all made “in house” with the leaders God has given to their church. We are also completely self-supported financially by the giving of those who attend the church.
