Right in the heart of Hammersmith with the Piccadilly and District Line Tube station and the Bus Station housed together, it is part of a large shopping and social complex. The tube station is at just one level down in a cutting and open to the air. There are then two levels for the buses to use, the lower accessed from Butterwick and the upper from Hammersmith Road. Buses depart from here for all parts of west London and connect with services originating to the east of the city as well. The tube station has an open roof of curved tubular girders easily visible from the lower level.
Hammersmith Broadway is convenient for all your shopping, socialising and transportation needs. It boasts over 40 retailers including food, several fashion outlets, and plenty of places to eat and drink. They sell a wide variety of goods and services from shoe repair to books, from sandwiches to haircuts and from eye tests to soft toys. You can do it all and more without leaving the centre.
There are 3 entrances to the complex situated on, The Broadway, Queen Caroline Street and Talgarth Road. As the Piccadilly and District Line Station is based within the Broadway Centre, on exiting the station you are immediately in the shopping centre. The main Bus Station for Hammersmith is situated on the 1st Floor of the Shopping Centre and buses run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
