In front of entrance into Palace Hotel in Noordwijk a colourful statue of a mermaid is located. On October 29 2004 this statue was presented
to the city of Noordwijk by De Raad Bouw BV, offering a smile to hotel
guests and passers-by. According to blue plaque behind the statue it is a symbolic welcome to visitors of Noordwijk at see, beaches and flowers.
