In 1983 a former, run down boarding house was purchased for this Ronald McDonald house. When finally completed and renovated, over 1 million dollars had been used to finish this 15 bedroom house as it is today. In 2005, after Hurricane Katrina, help to repair any damage came from all the other Ronald McDonald houses.
