My photograph (2011) was taken from the location of the tree near the left edge of the early photograph (1905). While it would have been great to similarly shoot my photograph from the middle of the road, I suspect that I would have regretted such an attempt in modern traffic.
The Masonic Temple fills my modern photograph. In the older photograph, the Masonic Temple is along the right edge of the photograph, the peak of the roof is visible.
