"Esther, beloved wife of Joseph Guest. Born Jan'y 3, 1824. Died Sept 2, 1881." thus reads the front of the zinc headstone.
The pillow stone says "Esther Ann".
One side says "Reflection: My earthly abode by loved ones remembered. Ponder and profit."
The other: "Our Mother: Lottie - James, Hannah - Harris, Sallie - Willie, Cora - John" so eight children.
The reverse side tells: "Though left in great sadness and grief, bitter as gall, yet, her dying words cheer us, I'm ready, only waiting the call. Husband."
