According to their website, Beth El is an egalitarian congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism and dedicated to cultivating, nurturing, enhancing, and passing on Judaism and Jewish living in harmony with the ideals of the Conservative Movement. They celebrated a milestone anniversary with this mosaic scroll outside the entrance to their congregation. It has pictures of the past in its tilework. The year is a bit confusing. Their congregation website says they were founded in 1925, yet the math indicates that a 75th anniversary should have been in 2000 not 2006.
