This self-service dog wash in Edmond is located on the NE corner of Broadway and 33rd, just north of Burger King. The facility is open 24/7, so if your dog gets sprayed by a skunk, take him here to get an instant wash!
The machines in the wash bays run off of quarters, and the money buys you time. You can choose which cycles you want and switch to another cycle as long as you have time remaining on the machine. Give the water about 20 seconds to warm up before using the wet cycle on the dog. Cycle choices are rinse, soap, rinse, and dry (small dog or big dog). We have a relatively large size dog, and it cost us about $5 to wash and dry her. A ramp leads up to the bath-tub style bay, and you can securely tie the dog's leash so they cannot jump out and get hurt.
The parking area in front of the dog wash has very little traffic at all, so you can also take your dog outside to dry off in the sun.
There is a vending machine in the lobby for dog treats/bandanas, and bows, but it was empty at the time we visit. We do not know how often the facility is maintained or restocked. A waste disposal bag dispenser is in the lobby also, but it was empty when we used the dog wash.
**Please be advised that depending on when you go, the facility could be very clean or very dirty! It's a dog wash!
