There is a sundial on the clock tower of the church of Santa Maria in Sartène Corsica. Sartène is reputed to be the most Corsican of Corsican towns. The parish church of Santa Marie dominates the main square in the center of this hill town. The Holy week procession attracts many visitors.
A small metal sundial is mounted on the south wall of the clock tower facing the town square. The sundial looks like a modern addition. The parish dates back to 1572 and the original church was dedicated in 1685.
