Bitva u Lipan 30.5.1434 bylo vojenské stretnutí u vsi Lipany, které znamenalo zásadní obrat v husitských válkách. Porážka vojska sirotku a táboritu aliancí umírnených kališníku a katolíku s konecnou platností oslabila radikální krídlo kališníku a sesadila polní obce z pozice rozhodujícího politického cinitele. Tato skutecnost umožnila konecnou dohodu se Zikmundem Lucemburským a legáty basilejského koncilu a v dlouhodobém horizontu prinesla ukoncení válecného stavu v Zemích Koruny ceské.

The Battle of Lipany or Lipan, also called the Battle of Cesky Brod, was fought at Lipany 40 km east of Prague on May 30, 1434 and virtually ended the Hussite Wars. An army of Utraquist nobility and Catholics, called the Bohemian League, defeated the radical Taborites and Orphans led by Prokop the Great, the overall commander, and by Jan Capek of Sány, the cavalry commander.
