Old Town Scottsdale is the downtown historic area. It is known for its art galleries, its shopping, its history and restaurants. During the tourist season, a singing cowboy rides the streets. It is a tourist destination within Scottsdale, Arizona. At one time, the city motto was "The West's Most Western Town". Shops in the area keep to a western theme, along with the rodeo parade, the Parada del Sol which can be seen in this area in February.
