This giant Sequoia was planted in 2001 in honor of the late Senator E. Pete Suazo.
Like a Sequoia that stands strong and tall, Pete stood out among all the rest and provide structure and shelter for those less fortunate. The legacy of Pete's life and contributions to the residents of Utah will continue to be far reaching like the branches and roots of this Sequoia.
