Maebashi Park features a pond in the shape of Gunma Prefecture, of which Maebashi is the chief city and capital. It is said to resemble a crane. There is a beautiful cherry blossom festival here every spring. The park is full of memories for those who grew up here, including this little bridge and the graceful swan paddle boats.
