This older water tower is located just at the northern edge of the popular Maebashi Park.

This appears to be an old steel water tower with a newer domed roof and modern piping.
Maebashi Park sits in the heart of the city, and holds many memories for anyone who grew up here. The beautiful lake, with its swan paddle boats is built to resemble the shape of the province of Gunma where Maebashi is located in central Japan. The cherry blossoms here are reputed to be some of the best in the province.
