Parque Verde do Mondego, or Mondego's Green Park, Opened in June 2004, and it came to approach the river (Mondego) to the people of Coimbra. On the riverbank, was born with an area over 400 square meters, completely dedicated to leisure.
In 2005, the giant bear was destroyed in a fire and was rebuilt later.
