Yongsan Railway Station is one of the major transportation hubs for the entire country, and this fire station is located just south of the station, and near two major museums - the National Korean War Memorial and the National Art Museum.

Though nor really close to this fire station, Yongsan is known to many as the home to Yongsan Military Base, one of the largest for the U.S. military in Korea. There are plans to move most of the military units from here, however, to other locations, and return the land to Seoul for commercial development.
