"Peace on Earth" Statue - Salt Lake City, Utah - Peace Memorials on Waymarking.com

Avard Fairbanks has created a beautiful sculpture in the International Peace Gardens. The monument is comprised of two Fairbanks sculptures: Our Hope for the Children and "Peace on Earth". On the front side a female figure stands holding a globe in her proper right arm and a torch in her proper left hand. The sculpture is cast stone with the base concrete and stone. On the side of the sculpture has three figures. A boy stands with his hand resting on a wheel. A girl is seated on his proper right. A smaller child is by the girl's proper right side. This is a magnificent sculpture positioned in the American Garden of the International Peace Gardens, that we hope you will enjoy while you are visiting the gardens.
