There are small distance signs for local hiking trails and a large one pointing to the town of Prawdinsk in Russia.
The original German name of Mieroszów was Friedland (in English: Peaceland) and there are annual get-togethers of Friedlands all over the Central and Eastern Europe. Prawdinsk is one of them - before WW II, the Kaliningrad region was inhabited by Prussians, and the town name was also Friedland.
Historic significance:
Placed by Town of Mieroszów and Polish Hiking Club. As mentioned in the long description: there is a tradition of meeting of towns once called Friedland here in Mieroszów.
