"Fürio" is usually located at the North bank of the island between the hydroelectric power plant and the locks of Birsfelden, but it is not connected to the municipal fire department; it is managed by the canton. The closer area is fenced, but you can come close enough for a good view on almost all sides.
It was built in 1973, it's almost 30 meters long and has two engines with 630 HP each. It is an exact copy of its sister ship in Basel-Stadt (WM7380).
