Located in the sleepy environs of Dragoon, Arizona, a short drive off of I-10 between Tuscon, AZ, and El Paso, TX, You'll see its billboards for hundreds of miles long before you reach it, drawing you like a siren to its mystery. For a couple of dollars you can actually take a short self-guided tour for the chance to see "The Thing."

Of course, if you're not actually interested in "The Thing," the gift shop offers a variety of country-western attire and all sorts of goodies. There's even a Dairy Queen next door.
