Oh yes, there was really nothing more interesting than restoring this Victorian wash building into a living museum to all items used to wash clothes.
They have such interesting items as vintage mangles, a steam pot, a number of wash baskets and no less than 8, yes 8 sinks!
How could they have ever have managed. They even have an audio tour that lets you know how they got through the 7 day cycle of washing.
They even have a line depicting how a week of washing was lined up.
