The St. Luke’s Episcopal Church was organized in the 1880’s and the church was built in 1892-93, four blocks north of the railroad depot on State Street. In the 1930’s the church was moved two blocks north to its current location and later a parish hall and connecting vestibule were added.
The building was placed on the National Register on July 24, 1978.
