The Magnolia Station was built in the 1920's in a Spanish Colonial Revival style. The station was used as a staging location for the press covering the integration crisis at Little Rock Central High School in 1957. The station was restored to its 1957 appearance and served as a temporary visitors center for the Central High School National Historic Site until a new visitors center was built across the street.
