Although Sioux Gateway Airport is a joint civil-military airport, it is under the direction of the City of Sioux City as a public commercial airport. It offers 2 hard surface runways and presently provides flights for Delta Airlines. While waiting for flights a passenger may use the workstations where Internet access and free WiFi are available. A wonderful display case highlights the life of Colonel Bud Day and exhibits some of his service medals. A café is available for a bite to eat and a game room provides diversion while waiting on that layover. Car rentals are conveniently located.
