Historically, the first speedway's race took place at Prague's Letna 9 June 1928.
Motorcycles were divided into volume classes and competed in 20 rounds.
Later(1933) speedway was moved from Letna to Strahov.
In the in the seventies was rebuilt athletic stadium Marketa to dedicated racing circuit speedway. Gradually there was built speedway stadium which takes place every year a number of domestic and international events.
