The distinction recognizes the measures implemented in the management of the building and makes the infrastructure in the first building to receive LEED Gold rating in the Iberian Peninsula.

- 100% of paints, adhesives, sealants and carpets with very low content of harmful chemicals:

[PT]O edifício Maia Business Center, da Sonae, recebeu a certificação pelo sistema LEED, na categoria Gold. A distinção reconhece as medidas implementadas na gestão do edifício e torna a infra-estrutura no primeiro edifício a receber a classificação LEED Gold na Península Ibérica.

- Aquecimento e o arrefecimento garantidos por calor excedentário de um processo industrial de geração de electricidade;
