Irish Bricks – Sioux Falls, SD - Donated Engraved Bricks and Pavers on Waymarking.com

These bricks next to the Potato Man sculpture were given by 132 families who gathered together to purchase the Irish statue for the park. Arranged to resemble the country of Ireland, each brick has the names of those families who contributed to the project imprinted on it. Some bricks have Irish symbols on them such as the motherland flag or the celtic cross. The display is punctuated with the Irish quote “May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live.”

The stone is found on the SW corner of McKennan Park next to the “Potato Man” sculpture.
