Das Timmelsjoch (ital. Passo del Rombo) liegt auf einer Höhe von 2.474m und ist seit 1919 ein Grenzpass zwischen Österreich (Bundesland Tirol) und Italien (Provinz Südtirol). Das Joch ist der höchste unvergletscherte Übergang zwischen Reschenpass und Brennerpass, es verbindet das Ötztal (Sölden) mit Passeier (St. Leonhard in Passeier und weiter nach Meran). Das Timmelsjoch trennt außerdem die Ötztaler Alpen von den Stubaier Alpen, auf ihm verläuft ferner die Europäische Wasserscheide.

The Timmelsjoch (Italian Passo del Rombo) lies at an altitude of 2.474m, and since 1919, a border pass between Austria (Tyrol) and Italy (Province of South Tyrol).
