The stamp is from a series printed in 1971 and is worth the grand total of 3p
The Physical Sciences Building was built in the late 1960's and was awarded a engineering award for innovative design for its time. The building is holding up well, but a tad cold on the inside in the winter months.
The building is used for Material Physics, Planarity Science and Mathematics research, and has in the last few years acquired a robotic telescope on the roof.
